District 5810 Awarded Our Club  SMALL CLUB OF THE YEAR!
2022-2023 was a remarkable year for the Rotary Club of Coppell, culminating in the prestigious honor of being awarded the Best Small Club of the Year, Most Fun Club & Community Service Awards for Rotary District 5810. With hearts brimming with pride, the members of our diverse club celebrated this distinguished achievement. Our small but mighty club represents a tapestry of ages, races, and genders, united by a common purpose.

Throughout the year, our club rallied together, participating in over 33 impactful service events. One of our flagship endeavors is the Coppell Holiday Flag Program, where we proudly plant over 1,725 flags across Coppell, not only spreading patriotic pride but also supporting local civic groups like the Boy and Girl Scouts.

Our commitment to the community includes Coppell Schools, Metrocrest Services, and all Coppell civic groups. We believe in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow, as evidenced by our support for the CHS Rotary Interact group, sending 4 students to the Rotary RYLA Camp, and awarding scholarships to five deserving Coppell seniors.

In addition to our service endeavors, our club knows how to have fun with a purpose. We hosted various social events, including "Pinot for Polio," a heartwarming Christmas Party featuring a β€œBarbie Like Me” doll collection drive, and a solemn flag retirement ceremony conducted by a local Boy Scout troop. We also joined voices with the Coppell Chorale for a "Tinsel and Tidings Singalong" to benefit Coppell Choir Students and celebrated our Rotary Foundation successes at Landon Winery.
Coppell Rotarians Biju Mathews and John Hill along with their families enjoyed the Coppell 4th of July Parade. Biju is a City Councilman and shares his service commitment with the community and the Rotary Club of Coppell.
